Coll de la Trava via Roc del Castell

We start our route from the small village of La Cortinada. Get ready for a demanding climb with a steep, steady gradient. We reach Coll de la Trava, where the terrain becomes a little flatter, with a succession of climbs and descents, until we arrive at a meadow from which we can see the bordes of Ensegur. We turn back following the signs and begin a steep descent to the Ruta del Ferro near Llorts. We cross the village of Llorts and continue along the Sedornet path, where we gain elevation again. We leave the forest behind and reach Roc del Castell, with magnificent views of Casamanya. We continue along the route through the forest; it becomes flatter and very pleasant again until we reach a junction, where we can descend to Llorts or head towards Arans. We continue towards Arans. From here it is all downhill to the starting point. We leave the path and follow a track until we reach La Cortinada, where the route ends.
